- November 10th 2007: I sent off my third Lucie book to Windstorm on Saturday, along with the chapter spot illustrations. It's taken a while since I decided after the first time I was "done" that I wanted some more editing help and so sought aid from a local professional editor. I'm glad I did. It's much tighter now. So Lucie and Rodney have added a little island off the east coast of Australia to their travels and sailing to their list of locomotion. Of course Lucie still doesn't get how much Rodney likes her. For one so bright, she can be incredibly dim.

- I love speaking to school language arts classes about writing and illustrating children's books. My presentation can be tailored to current curriculum needs. I do not charge for presentations to public schools - although an opportunity to sell my books to the school, school library, or students is always welcome. If you are interested, please contact me.
